Older students begin to have an idea of the kinds of art they want to create.
Classes at these levels are a balance of discovering students personal goals, and learning the skills and principals of most visual Art.
Some students may want to cartoon, do comics or manga. Such students will slowly learn the value of shading as it applies to their passion, as well as other drawing skills all through the context of the style that motivates them. They will be encouraged into looking at the wider world of Art.
Other students may want to learn realism, as they do they will be asked to apply what they have learned to a work of imagination, or to express themselves by their chosen subject, colour or line.
Students who are drawn to more abstract works, will be challenged to understand the art fundamentals which successful abstract art is build on and the tradition that it grew out of.
